Staff Lounge There is a 52 inch big screen TV in one corner, surrounded by down-filled couches, ottomans, and wing chairs. Opposite, an old style popcorn maker with 34 different flavor packets. Next to the popcorn there is a Starbucks machine -- it will make anything that they sell at Starbucks. Near the big bay window overlooking a lake, there is a shelf with categorized and itemized horse magazines. Horse Illustrated, Horse & Rider, Young Rider; you name it! On the last remaining wall, there is a row of computers. Staff can check email here and surf the web.
NOTE -- Only staff can use this board. Do not even try breaking in, this board is password protected.
Any members found inside the Staff Lounge (I can find this out easily) will be put on a 3 day ban. I will go through the moderator's PMs (I can do this) and find out who they told. This mod will be permanently banned from Proboards. Yes, all Proboards forums. Your IP will be blocked.
Lesson Rings, Exercise Rings, Longe Ring, Trails, and Show Rings Here is where you go for your afternoon or morning lessons, to exercise your horse, longe your horse if you don't have time to ride, take them for a leisurely trail ride, or participate in a show! Make sure you groom your horse before you ride, or your riding privileges will be revoked!
Note -- The only reason for using the show ring is for shows. You may not use this ring to exercise your horse. The longe ring is only to be used when your horse needs exercise, but you don't have the time to ride.
Campus Store Near the main school buildings, you see a building. Cute white picket fencing surrounds it, and lush green grass (Spring-Summer-Fall) grows, littered with pretty wildflowers. Big willow, maple, and birch trees cover the yard in shade, and sunshine flecks are seen on the lawn and flowers. Bees and butterflys flicker about, and a bird's song can be heard. Charming. A cute, well-maintenanced path of crushed rocks and dirt leads you to the stairway. On the fence, a small wooden sign hangs from the gate. Carved into it, you see neat cursive letters, "CAMPUS STORE- ALL YOUR STUDENT NEEDS" Following the path, you ascend a wide stairway. A door slathered with still-wet laquer paint greets you, as does a welcome mat. You step inside.
It looks like a tack-clothing-riding-and-gear eruption gone bad.
Metal racks on wheels are randomly organized. You see a rack with a show jacket, OSA sweatshirt, and Huskies sweatpants, and another, you see.. saddles? Bridles are hanging on dressing room doors, notebooks and fancy pencils are shoved into coffee mugs, and horse gear is found in random places near the back.
So much for charming, eh? A short blonde woman of about 25 greets you. She has platinum blonde hair in tight, corkscrew curls to about her chin. She has bright, turquoise eyes, a pixie nose, and full pink lips. Her hair looks frazzled, her lips are chapped, her outfit is rumpled, and she has lipstick on her tooth. She greets you. Her name is Mandy. She was hired to run the campus store, and when she got around to unpacking the crates of supplies, she became exasperated and started throwing things around in time for opening.
